To all of the psychological misfits, the chronically ignored, the folks who've always "slipped through the cracks"...
...welcome home.
You don't need an on-paper diagnosis to start making your life easier.
You can start accommodating yourself now.
You can wear the noise-canceling headphones now. You can eat your safe foods now. You can stim to your heart's content now.
"But what if I'm not actually auDHD??" you ask.
"...so what?" I ask in reply.
If the accommodations help you, you should do them. Now. Diagnosed or not.
Let this be your permission slip.
Permission to explore your own brain.
Permission to give yourself what you need, regardless of why you need it.
Permission to claim the labels that best match your experience.
Life this way is unsustainable. Something's gotta change. You've already spent enough years spiraling about being a "failure" or just...bad at life.
But you are not a failure. You're just bad at being neurotypical.
So let's stop trying to be.
Let's learn how to be auDHD, successfully.
You could do this alone, you could think about it for the next few weeks or months or years. But how long are you willing to wait to make your life easier?
Why are you insisting on white-knuckling your way through life?
Who benefits? Because it's certainly not you.
It's your turn to get what you need. Stop putting your needs last. You matter too.
The tools are right here. Take them.
I can't diagnose you.
But you can diagnose yourself.
Doctors are great, but...
1) many of them don't specialize in autism or ADHD, let alone what it's like to be both
2) their professional assessments are often expensive as hell
3) their invalidation and dismissal can do more harm than good
4) their official records are fair game under the Trump administration, which is growing more hostile toward disabled folks by the day
Let's say "fuck it" and just...
change your life now.
What we'll do at the auDHD Discovery Day:

Autism & ADHD Discovery Binders
When I was exploring my own brain, I made autism & ADHD binders (very autistic, I know) to help me track my traits and print out all my assessments and whatnot.
At this live event, you'll get the digital version of these binders, and we'll spend 1 hour filling out the binders together, and you'll have me available to answer any questions!

Coaching
I am autistic and ADHD myself and have spent years researching auDHD.
This does not make me the end-all, be-all expert, but I do know, like...a lot. Come pick my brain for 2 hours and ask me all things auDHD!
ACCESSIBILITY NOTE:
If you are nonspeaking or experience verbal shutdowns and/or social anxiety, you do not have to come off mute to get coached. I am happy to coach you through questions and comments in the chat!

Everything You Want to Know About auDHD
Looking for the basics about auDHD?
Need things spelled out in crystal clear language?
Want access to the slides so you can read over them later, after you've surely forgotten everything in the presentation?
I've got you.
During the auDHD Discovery Day, I'll put on this brief but super helpful presentation about all things auDHD.

Only offered live, so mark your calendar!
This event is going to be very interactive, and I truly think the best way to get your money's worth is to come live, so replays will not be available. Please only sign up if you're able to attend live.
Time: Saturday May 10
10am-2pm Eastern
No, I cannot. I am not a therapist or doctor. However, I am a big advocate for self-diagnosis, and I can give you tools to help set you on a path to self-diagnosis, if that's something you choose.
Because I have 3 kiddos, and I usually spend my Saturdays with them. If I'm going to take time away from my kids and be with you amazing people, then I need to be compensated for that time.

Hi there, I'm Megan.
I'm not a doctor, therapist, or any kind of mental health professional.
I'm a life coach and auDHDer myself.
I've literally written a book on auDHD (coming soon!)
And I think it's silly for us to wait to understand and help ourselves until someone in a white coat says we're "allowed" to.
While this event is in no way a substition for an official autism/ADHD assessment, it is intended to be a liberatory exercise in self-knowing.
You know yourself. You can trust yourself. So let's explore your brain, together.
